Human and Molecular Biology (M.Sc.)

Saarland University is one of the few universities in Germany offering a Master's programme at the interface of medicine and the biosciences. In contrast to traditional degree programmes in biology, the M.Sc. programme in Human and Molecular Biology focuses on molecular and pathophysiological aspects of a wide variety of human diseases.

The programme, whose content covers the natural sciences and biomedical sciences in equal measure, teaches both the theoretical foundations of the subject and the relevant practical laboratory skills, and provides graduates from the programme with excellent prospects for a career in industry or in academic research.
