Studying for a second undergraduate degree

If you are thinking about studying for a second undergraduate degree at Saarland University, please note that you can only apply for one programme of study, i.e. you can only submit one application for admission to study for a second undergraduate degree. Please include the following documents with your application for admission:

• Your first-degree certificate. The grade that you were awarded for your first degree must be included on the degree certificate or must be recorded on a separate document from the same office that issued your degree certificate.
• A comprehensive written statement covering all aspects of why you want to study for a second undergraduate degree.

If the number of second-degree applicants for a particular degree programme exceeds the number of reserved places, applicants will be ranked based on the grade awarded for their first degree and the relevance and significance of the reasons given in their written statement.
