What you bring along
- You are studying subjects relevant to Edtech, Computer Science or Teacher Training and you consider yourself to be well versed in one of the topics listed below and would like to demonstrate your expertise for your professional future.
- You can teach in German or English. Other languages are possible if you can attract more than 6 participants for your courses. We can use the waiting pool to gather interest in your topics before the course date is set
- You are aware of innovations in the world of teaching and learning, especially digital literacy, that are of interest to members of the university community and would like to share these with others through a workshop or an info-session.
- You want to network on campus by sharing your insights into teaching and learning within a learning community at UdS.

List of possible topics
Your Task: You should provide an introduction or share practical experiences in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education related to one or more of the following topics. The aim is to provide participants with the tools and knowledge to effectively integrate AI technologies into the teaching and learning process or daily work.
Possible Topics:
- Prompt Engineering for Beginners: Introduction to the fundamental concepts and technologies of AI, including efficient communication with AI tools.
- AI & Multimedia: You are familiar with one or more tools or concepts for creating videos, graphics or other multimedia materials and know the specific tools available on the market.
- Applications of AI in Education: Examples and case studies of successful AI implementation in schools and universities.
- Introduction to Personalized Learning: How AI can be used to adapt learning content to individual learners' needs and abilities, such as through intelligent tutors and chatbots.
- Automation of Administrative Tasks: Use of AI to increase efficiency and reduce the burden of administrative tasks.
- Data Privacy and Ethical Aspects: ethical challenges and data privacy issues related to the use of AI in education.
Target Audience: It is aimed at university staff, students and anyone interested in integrating artificial intelligence into the teaching and learning process.
Course Duration: Our team will work with you to determine the length of the events. In general, the duration is flexible depending on the topic, with a minimum of 45 minutes.

What we're seeking:
- Peer Feedback and Collaboration: We will explore how digital tools can be used to enable peer feedback and promote collaboration among students.
- Interactive Learning Materials: The course will demonstrate how to create interactive learning materials that support active learning, such as quiz questions, simulations, or interactive videos.
- Audience response systems (quizzes): Audience response systems (ARS) are mobile survey and voting systems that can be used in courses regardless of the size of the group. Various question types (e.g. multiple or single choice questions, free text questions or word clouds) can be realised and answers from all learners can be collected at the same time. The evaluation of answers can be anonymised or open.
