You can find the Saarland University courses online in the LSF directory.
The courses for the respective semester are only published a few weeks before the semester begins. You do not need to log in to see the course lists in the LSF directory to see the classes.
You can use previous semesters as a guide to get an initial idea of the courses on offer. For example, if you would like to come next winter semester, check the courses from the previous semester in the LSF directory. The courses will not be completely identical, but it will give you a good initial orientation.
Students from all programs and all subjects can also take part in the Europaicum courses. Here you will find courses in German and English on European topics, media and culture.
Yes, we even recommend it!
As an exchange student, you have two different options for your German course:
- A study-accompanying German course that takes place one or two days a week. This course s free of charge for exchange students.
- An intensive course in the months of March or September. This course costs 180€ for exchange students.
On the ISZ Saar website you will find information on German courses in general.
An admission for Erasmus+ students is not automatically linked to the allocation of accommodation.
We therefore recommend that you read all the information we provide on the subject of accommodation. Please apply to the halls of residence of the Studierendenwerk and also contact the private accommodation providers.
You can apply for rooms at the Welcome Center, but there is no guarantee of a place
The deadlines for dormitory applications are always 15.07 for the next winter semester and 31.12 for the next summer semester.
