Onboarding for first-semester students: LSF, Moodle and MS teams
Dear new students,
how to beginn your study at Saarland University? We will introduce three learning platform to you at the beginning of the Wintersemester 24/25: namely LSF (course-portal), Microsoft Teams (chat-based workspace) and Moodle (the Learning Management System at our university). These are the main tools for digital teaching at Saarland University (UdS).
The following presence- and online-courses are available in German, English, French and Chinese. You are welcome to register with MS Teams before the event (desktop version recommended). Your username is your UdS-ID@uni-saarland.de. If you have not yet received your UdS ID and password with a letter from the HIZ, please just attend the course via the button without the account.

Agenda in October
The event will take place on-site at the Innovation Center A1 1 on campus and can also be attended online.
As the places for the face-to-face training are limited, the first 100 registrations will receive a digital ticket. Valuable gifts will be distributed on-site at the event. If the tickets are sold out, the remaining participants will have to attend the course online. Registration will no longer be required for online attendance.
