Consultation Services

As in many other areas of diversity, we also offer support in cases of discrimination. We also advise on issues relating to the non-discriminatory teaching.

Our counselling services for experiences of discrimination

Saarland University expressly rejects all forms of discrimination and extremism. This includes among others:

  • Racism,
  • anti-Semitism,
  • anti-Muslim racism,
  • antiziganism,
  • anti-Slavism
  • and other forms of group-related misanthropy.

If you have experienced or observed discrimination at Saarland University, you are welcome to share your experiences with us (anonymously) via our questionnaire.

Questionnaire

Of course, you can also contact us directly by e-mail at diversity(at)uni-saarland.de. Our offer applies to both students and employees.

We offer initial and referral counselling, for which we can draw on our diverse network (e.g. Antidiskriminierungsforum Saar).

Consultation service focus on queer

In the course of the development of the CDM unit, we can look back on many years of cooperation with actors in the field of LGBTQIA+ topics. We explicitly refer to our topic page for the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition to lots of general information, you will also find contact details for counselling in the event of a queer-hostile experience.
