► Research focus

1. Development of methods to promote digital skills in physical chemistry
The focus is on the development of innovative teaching methods to promote the digital skills of prospective chemistry students. A specially designed course system is to be developed which includes the use of MATLAB for experimental data evaluation and data handling. This learning offering provides practical preparation for the requirements of a modern chemistry course and enables the efficient analysis and interpretation of complex amounts of data.

 

2. Use of Augmented Reality (AR) with Apple Vision Pro in educational contexts
Another focus is on researching and implementing augmented reality (AR) as an innovative educational tool. The use of the Apple Vision Pro is being investigated in order to develop new approaches to learning and teaching both in school and extracurricular areas as well as in university teaching. From interactive experiments in chemistry lessons to virtual laboratories, AR offers numerous opportunities to make complex content accessible and tangible. The focus is on developing future-oriented educational formats that make learning more sustainable and motivating through immersive experiences.
