A NanoBioLab Science School is a cooperation school of the NanoBioLab student laboratory and the Physical Chemistry & Didactics of Chemistry of Saarland University. As such, they cooperate in matters of digitalization and subject didactic research.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Johannes Kepler Gymnasium in Lebach
Since May 2023, the Johannes Kepler Gymnasium in Lebach has been a partner school of the NanoBioLab student laboratory and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry Department of the UdS!
The Johannes Kepler Gymnasium supports its students. Special emphasis is placed on the STEM area. There are a number of competitions such as Jugend forscht, Chem-ex or Maths Olympiad. The school also offers study groups on various topics. The JKG is also a STEM-friendly school, a digital school and a member of the STEM-EC network. Students can choose between the STEM branch or the science branch for the 8th grade.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Marienschule Saarbrücken
Since March 2022, the Marienschule Saarbrücken has been a partner school of the NanoBioLab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The Marienschule Saarbrücken supports its students in individualisation, pluralisation, globalisation and medialisation. From grade 8 onwards, the school offers a science branch with physics as the main subject and intensified lessons in chemistry and biology. Chemistry lessons focus on experiments. In small groups, students can conduct their own experiments in the well-equipped laboratory. In addition, pupils can take part in the NAWI AG, the Biology Olympiad, the Biologo Competition and the Physics Olympiad. Activity days such as Girls' and Boys' Day are supported by the school. In addition, independent work is explicitly trained on project days on topics such as reading strategies and job application training.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Schaumberg Community School in Theley
Since March 2022, the Schaumberg Community School has been a partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The mission statement of the Schaumberg Community School is: "Living sustainably together, experiencing new things and shaping life paths". Among other things, the students are supported in the STEM subjects. As a STEM-friendly school, the community school offers the opportunity to take part in AG offerings in biology and chemistry, Känguru and BioLogo competitions, as well as supplementary events such as Girl's Day. Starting in grade 5, all students are introduced to the basic concepts of biology, physics and chemistry in the subject of science. The subjects of biology, physics and chemistry are taught individually from grade 8 onwards, with physics and chemistry available as basic and advanced courses. Gemeinschaftsschule Schaumberg Theley also places an emphasis on digital support in the classroom with iPads, for example.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Gemeinschaftsschule Gersheim
Since December 2021, Gemeinschaftsschule Gersheim has been a partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry at UdS!
The Gemeinschaftsschule Gersheim offers science lessons already from grade 5. From grade 9 on, the subjects are then divided into chemistry, physics and biology. With exciting experiments and the regular use of digital media to support the lessons, Gemeinschaftsschule Gersheim aims to promote learning in the natural sciences on an individual basis.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Albert Einstein Gymnasium in Völklingen
Since November 2021, the Albert Einstein Gymnasium from Völklingen is a partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
On November 15, we were at the Albert Einstein Gymnasium in Völklingen to sign the contract and to get to know each other personally for the first time. After the signing of the contract, the day was rounded off with a visit to the lessons and the chemistry classrooms.
Albert Einstein Gymnasium Völklingen makes students fit for the future! As a "STEM-friendly school," the high school focuses on promoting STEM subjects. The Albert-Einstein Gymnasium also always participates very successfully in competitions such as 'ChemExSaar' and 'Chemie - die stimmt' and also offers a complementary chemistry internship (ChEinEx, Chemie Einstein experimentell). This mission statement is shaped by Albert Einstein's saying, "The important thing is not to stop asking questions."

Since September 2021, the Realschule plus Kell am See is a new partner school of the NanoBioLab student laboratory and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
With its school profile, the Realschule plus Kell am See focuses on career and study orientation as well as on the topic of sustainability. In this context, we would like to support the new NanoBioLab Science School in the natural science branch and realize natural science projects.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Marie-Luise-Kaschnitz-Gymnasium in Völklingen
Since September 2021, the Marie-Luise-Kaschnitz-Gymnasium Völklingen is a new partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
With its science branch, the Marie-Luise-Kaschnitz-Gymnasium Völklingen promotes the MINT area by teaching the subjects biology, chemistry and physics more intensively. In addition, the MLK Gymnasium participates in competitions such as "Schüler experimentieren" (Pupils Experiment) and "ChemEx" (ChemEx) and has already organized a Science Week with exciting scientific lectures and excursions.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Neunkirchen Community School
Since July 2021, the GGSNK is a new cooperation school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The Gemeinschaftsschule Neunkirchen is an all-day school for which the individual support of each student is important. The conception of the school strengthens the abilities, talents and interests of each learner in order to support him or her individually.

Since April 2021, the Gymnasium am Schloss is a new partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The Gymnasium am Schloss has a natural science branch and thus enables the deepening of natural science topics, a greater variation of task types, a lot of practical work, more application and topicality. The cooperation with the university, which has now been established, offers many new opportunities for promotion and support.

New NanoBioLab Science School: Peter-Wust Gymnasium in Merzig
Since April 2021, the PWG is a new cooperation school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The Peter-Wust Gymnasium is a very versatile new cooperation partner as a natural science and modern language high school. Due to the MINT certification, children and adolescents with scientific talents and inclinations are especially supported in working groups on nature and technology. The now established cooperation with the university offers many new opportunities for promotion and support.

Since November 2020, the Nikolaus-Groß-Gemeinschaftsschule in Lebach has been a partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The Nikolaus-Groß-Gemeinschaftsschule in Lebach focuses on career and economy. As a partner school, the students are supported and promoted in the areas of natural sciences and digitalization.

NanoBioLab Science School: Gymnasium am Steinwald in Neunkirchen
Since June 2020, the Gymnasium am Steinwald in Neunkirchen has been a partner school of the NanoBioLab student lab and the Physical Chemistry and Didactics of Chemistry of the UdS!
The Gymnasium am Steinwald offers numerous opportunities for further education and support in the STEM subjects. There is the option to participate in a voluntary STEM project from the 5th grade on, to choose the scientific branch in the 8th grade, to take a STEM seminar in the upper school or to attend a science club in general. But also the participation in various competitions such as the student competition ChemEx Saar, Chemieolympiade or Biologo is possible for the students*. Since the 2014/15 school year, the Gymnasium am Steinwald has also been one of the MINT-EC certified schools.
