Opening of the doctorate procedure

 

If you would like to open your doctorate procedure, please read our guide (Leitfaden/guide). Here you will find important information about the dissertation and the documents needed to open the doctoral process.

Please visit us with the completed application form for opening the doctorate procedure - with appointment only
(Application for the initiation of the assessment and examination phase)* and the required documents.

* Your dissertation is to be evaluated by a reviewer who is not a member of our faculty? Please ask us in advance whether this reviewer is already known to us. If not, you must submit her/his CV and a list of publications together with the application for opening.

Please note: A personal consultation is only possible after prior appointment (by e-mail)!

Certificate for participating in the Graduate School of the faculty

Have you taken courses in the framework of the Graduate School of the faculty?

The participation in the Graduate School ends with the awarding of the doctorate.

You receive a certificate showing the additional competences and documenting your participation in the Graduate School.

For this purpose, please submit all relevant documents in the deanery together with the application form for opening the doctorate procedure.
