I-Q-WISNA and PROWIS-Science-Net
Saarland University (UdS) would like to further improve the personal development conditions of its junior professors (with and without tenure track), holders of W2 tenure-track professorships or positions with management track as part of its funding in the WISNA programme: In the ‘I-Q-WISNA’ programme (‘I-Q’ stands for ‘individual qualification’), they can apply for financial support for individual qualification and accompanying measures. These (internal or external) measures can serve to further develop specialist or interdisciplinary knowledge or skills, but also to promote careers (e.g. stays at external (research) institutions or conference trips). Funding is provided for measures that contribute to achieving the objectives set out in the target agreement (for junior professorships) or in the qualification agreement (for positions with a management track). A selection committee of the Executive Board decides on funding on the basis of the information provided in the application and the availability of funds.
The next regular call for applications for the I-Q-WISNA programme is expected to take place in spring 2023. An initiative application is possible at any time.
