Saarland University – A European university with an international outlook

Every fifth student at Saarland University's Saarbrücken and Homburg campuses is an international student. Internationals students represent a total of more than 120 nations, making Saarland University one of the most international universities in Germany.

Broad range of degree programmes

International applicants can study for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any of the subjects available. Some doctoral research candidates work independently under the supervision of a professor who advises them on their thesis and research work; others apply for a place on a PhD programme at one of our graduate schools or research training centres. All of our degree programmes are internationally recognized.
