Step 3: Formalities and administrative procedures

Before travelling to Germany there are a number of things you will need to organize pre-departure and there are a few administrative formalities that you will need to complete once you have arrived in Saarbrücken. For example, you will need to organize health insurance cover, you may need a visa, you will have to open a bank account and you will need to apply for a temporary residence permit and register with the local authorities.
