Step 5: Learning German

Saarland University offers a broad range of German language courses designed to help you learn German or to improve your existing German skills. These include preparatory German courses at the International Study Centre Saar, intensive block courses during the summer recess, language courses that run during the semester ('in-sessional' courses) and specialized courses, such as German for doctoral students. There is also a tandem language exchange programme, which helps international students to learn German and make new contacts a the same time.
