Conversation course for doctoral students (A2/B1, B1/B2)
| Target group | PhD students with German knowledge |
| Language levels | A2/B1 (basic level course) B1/B2 (intermediate course) It is not possible to apply for a specific language level. The levels of the courses held always depend on the level of knowledge of the respective course participants. Placement in the groups is made according to the results of our placement test. |
| Contents | Dialogues about the university, discussions, presentations |
| Extent of lessons | 2 x 2 teaching units per week |
| Schedule | 1x per week in the afternoon or evening. The teaching days and times depend on the course. |
| Course fee | For doctoral students and postdocs of the UdS free of charge (funded by the DAAD), teaching materials not included. |

| Registration | Registration is only possible within the specified registration period via the online registration form on our website. To do so, please check the desired semester in the semester courses. Registrations by e-mail will not be accepted. If you are interested in the conversation course for doctoral students, please select the course "Konversation" in the registration form and indicate that you are a doctoral student when asked for your status. |
| Placement test | Yes. All applicants must take a placement test (online!) within a certain period of time. For dates, see the semester courses in the desired semester. |
