The Titz research group focuses on the chemistry of active substances against multiresistant pathogens of infectious diseases.

- Synthesis of novel antibiotics and pathoblockers against multi-resistant germs
- Synthesis of carbohydrates and glycomimetics as tools and agents
- Biochemical and biophysical analytics Active ingredients and their target proteins
- Microbiological diagnostics of biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and others
