Junior professor Dr. Fabian Müller

The lab focuses on the computational modeling of cell identity.

Using machine learning methods we are aiming at understanding molecular signatures and their interactions that reflect cell state. We are particularly interested in epigenetic mechanisms involved in gene regulation during normal and aberrant cellular development.

We engage in interdisciplinary collaborations between molecular biology and computer science to drive cutting-edge research at the intersection of the following fields:

• Computational epigenomics
• Bioinformatics
• Applied machine learning
• Chromatin biology
• Single-cell technology
