Prof. Dr. Karin Jacobs

The Jacobs group works on the physics of soft matter.

Subject of the research are
- the stability of coatings
- properties of simple and complex fluids
- Adhesion of biomolecules on surfaces.

As experimental methods we use e.g. atomic force microscopy, ellipsometry and plasmon resonance spectroscopy.
