Admission requirements for the Master's program
All those interested in the Master's program in Microtechnology and Nanostructures apply online to the Department of Mechatronics or Physics. The basis for admission is the equivalence of the last degree with a one-semester Bachelor's degree of Saarland University as well as the special aptitude. These criteria are checked by the departments on the basis of the data provided in the online application. Details can be found in the respective valid examination regulations of the Master's program.
For applicants whose native language is not German: Please note that the courses of the Master's program are usually held in German. Therefore, the admission requirement is proof of sufficient language skills for the specialized studies.
If your application is accepted, you will be informed in advance by e-mail. An official certificate of acceptance will be sent to you by mail. This certificate serves as proof of acceptance of your application and is the prerequisite for enrollment in the program.
It is no longer possible to apply as of the winter semester 2020/2021. Since the winter semester 2020/2021 there is a new study program Master Quantum Engineering.
