Sociology with special focus on Europe
Martin Schröder has been Professor of Sociology with a focus on Europe at Saarland University since 1 December 2022 and conducts research on social inequality, the welfare state, variants of capitalism, economic sociology, generations, morality and life satisfaction. He earned his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne and studied in Osnabrück, Sciences Po Paris and Harvard University.
