Personalized E-Mail Address

Request a personalized e-mail address

As a doctoral student at Saarland University, you must first register or enrol centrally with your doctoral project and re-register each semester (see further information).

As soon as you are registered or enrolled as a doctoral candidate, you will receive a student e-mail address and user ID (if you do not already have one) from the University IT Center (HIZ), whereby the e-mail will be approximately in the form s8abcdef@stud.uni-saarland.de.

You can then have this student e-mail address extended by the personalized form vorname.nachname@uni-saarland.de by sending an informal e-mail to support[at]hiz-saarland.de stating your HIZ ID or, ideally, by opening a ticket in the HIZ helpdesk system.
