Aula

Aula is an interactive, multimedia online language learning system with an extensive collection of didactic learning and training units for elementary and intermediate levels. Its aims are to optimize teaching and learning processes in Spanish classes and to support self-directed learning.


The overall concept is implemented in two modules:

Learning Portal

Interactive, multimedia learning platform for grammar and phonetics


The grammar module contains:

    Video tutorials with explanations of the theory
    Flashcards on the grammar topics

The phonetics module includes:

  • Animations to illustrate the pronunciation of Spanish
  • Theoretical explanations and practical tips
  • Audio recordings on segmental and suprasegmental level
 

Training portal

Multimedia, interactive system for practising the theoretical contents

  •     more than 7000 grammar exercises
  •     Choice of tasks according to the level of language
  •     Recommendations for further tasks, direct feedback
  •     Exercises and tables to systematize the learning of verb morphology
 

Goals

  • Dynamic addition of motivating content to the classroom teaching  
  • More flexible learning through work units that do not require presence, the Flipped classroom model is supported
  • Promoting student autonomy and offering content for self-study contexts
  • Effective and autonomous exercises for exam preparation
