‘Translation Science and Technology’ is now member of the EU-Master's in Translation network

We are very proud to announce that the MA programme ‘Translation Science and Technology’ has been admitted to the renowned European Master’s in Translation network (EMT). EMT is a network of master’s degree programmes in the field of translation that aims at improving the quality of translator training and providing graduates with assistance for a successful career start. The membership in the EMT network is a quality mark for translation-related master’s degree programmes since the European Commission Directorate-General for Translation only awards this label to those university programmes that meet the jointly defined professional standards and the market requirements. Consequently, the membership of the MA ‘Translation Science and Technology’ in the EMT network certifies that this programme is moving with the times and promptly integrating the modern technological developments. As an EMT member, the MA programme will be in close collaboration with the Directorate-General for Translation, which also includes the possibility for students to participate in short-term training placements at this institution.
