Scanning, copying and printing

Employees, students, and guests of the university currently have the option of make copies, scan, or securely execute print jobs at around 80 multifunction devices on the campus of Saarland University at any time they wish.

Since January 2022, a central print, copy and scan solution has also included the Homburg campus and the htw saar locations. It offers significantly enhanced functionalities in the areas of printing (printing from PC via printer driver, Follow Me, Mobile Printing) and scanning (Scan to Folder). Payment is made directly with the chip card (electronic purse); the use of so-called cost center cards for departmental printing is not supported. The new solution will be implemented during the 1st quarter of 2022.
