Covalent bonds are the heart and soul of chemical sciences. Such interactions constitute the basis for the formation of molecules and materials. In Ec=m2, we share the excitement about unprecedented structural motifs with deliberately tuned electron-sharing bonds. Hand in hand with the qualification opportunities offered to our Scholars, ten highly collaborative projects address the manipulation of the strength of covalent bonding in the context of responsive molecules and materials.
