Study abroad
A stay abroad is an excellent opportunity to broaden one's horizons and a real enrichment of one's studies as well as to get to know a foreign country, its people, its language and its university system. The Department of Physics therefore recommends its students to make use of this opportunity.
However, the stay abroad should be carefully planned and integrated into the study plan. In this way, the creditability of the study achievements abroad can be ensured in advance. The professors of the department and especially the coordinators mentioned below will be glad to help you with this. Beforehand, it is advisable to obtain information from generally accessible sources and from the International Office (see below).
A good overview of how to plan your studies abroad can be found on the Studieren-weltweit.de website.
Particularly noteworthy are the coordinated programs within the framework of ERASMUS for exchanges with European partner universities.
More information about the stay abroad within the framework of Erasmus+ can be found on the page of the International Office.
You can go abroad within the framework of Erasmus+ not only through existing cooperation of the physics department but under certain circumstances also through other existing cooperation. An overview of existing Erasmus+ cooperations can be found in the MoveOn database.
