French Section
The academic staff of the French Section are responsible for developing French language skills in the BA Language Science and, according to the specialisation of the lecturers, offer translation and text competence courses, oral communication classes as well as other courses in this BA programme, in the Bachelor optional area (Bachelor-Optionalbereich), at the Centre for Lifelong Learning and in the MA Translation Science and Technology.

2nd semester:
- Fachübersetzen und Terminologieextraktion aus BII
- Fachkommunikation und Textredaktion in BII
- Mündliche Fachkommunikation in BII (Wahlpflicht)
3rd semester:
- Fachkommunikation und Textredaktion in BII
- Projektarbeit aus BII
4th semester:
- Übersetzen multimedialer Texte aus BII
Our innovative B.A. Language Science and M.A. Translation Science and Technology programmes will qualify you to become a Translator of the future. You can of course also study our advanced MA Translation Science and Technology with a suitable different BA degree under your belt.
