M.A. Pedro Ferreira (NOVA University of Lisbon) is a PhD student at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and has taught translation and Portuguese at the University of Mainz. During his stay (1 October - 31 March), he is researching the topic "Translation as variation: studies on parallel and comparable English-German-Portuguese corpora" and will be supervised by PD. Dr. Phil. Ekaterina Lapshinova-Koltunski. As a concrete result of his stay, sub-corpora with Portuguese will be designed to integrate the ParCorFull and VARTRA corpora developed in our department. This stay is supported by the FCT, Foundation for Science and Technology, Portugal.
