Prof. Dr. Dominik Brodowski, LL.M. (UPenn) is a Professor for Europeanization, Internationalization and Digital Transformation of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at Saarland University and Cluster Professor at the CEUS. He is also Vice -President for Internationaliszation and European Relations.

Vortrag auf dem AIDP-Kongress

Zum hundertjährigen Jubiläum der Gründung der AIDP (Association Internationale de Droit Pénal) wird vom 25. bis 28. Juni 2024 in Paris der XXI. AIDP-Kongress stattfinden. Prof. Brodowski wird am Mittwoch, dem 26. Juni, einen Vortrag auf dem Gebiet »Strafverfahrensrecht und Künstliche Intelligenz« beitragen. Die Veranstaltung findet an der Universität Paris-Panthéon-Assas statt.

Vortrag auf der Boderlands of Criminal Law Conference

Am Freitag, dem 21. Juni 2024, wird Prof. Brodowski auf der Borderlands of Criminal Justice Conference zum Thema »Judicial and Police Cooperation in Intra-European Borderlands« vortragen. Die Konferenz findet am 20. und 21. Juni an der Universität Windsor, Kanada, statt.

Artificial Intelligence and Criminal Law

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Deutschen Landesgruppe der AIDP e.V. veranstaltet der Lehrstuhl für Europäisierung, Internationalisierung und Digitalisierung des Strafrechts und des Strafverfahrensrechts an der Universität des Saarlandes (Prof. Dr. Dominik Brodowski) am Dienstag, den 4. Juni 2024, von 15:30-17:00 Uhr eine Online-Veranstaltung zu "Artificial Intelligence and Criminal Law". Im Vorfeld des 21. Weltkongresses der AIDP vom 25. bis 28. Juni 2024 stellen die Landesberichterstatterinnen im Rahmen dieser Online-Veranstaltung die deutschen Landesberichte zu den vier Sektionen Strafrecht Allgemeiner Teil, Strafrecht Besonderer Teil, Strafverfahrensrecht und Völkerstrafrecht vor. Exkursion zum EuGH und zur EuStA

In Kooperation mit der Universität Konstanz fand am 25.01.2024 eine Exkursion zum EuGH und zur EuStA statt. Die Teilnehmer*innen hatten unter anderem die Möglichkeit, einer mündlichen Verhandlung am EuGH beizuwohnen und Einblicke in die Arbeit der EuStA zu erlangen.
