Carol Vernallis

Carol Vernallis ist Associate Professor am Film and Media Studies-Studiengang der Arizona State University. Sie ist die Verfasserin des Buches „Experiencing Music Video: Aesthetics and Cultural Context” (New York: Columbia University Press 2004); sie schreibt gegenwärtig das Buch „Accelerating Aesthetics: YouTube, Music Video and the New Digital Cinema” (Oxford University Press) und bereitet zugleich ein weiteres Buch mit dem Titel „The Art and Industry of Music Video” vor, das sowohl Interviews mit Musikvideo-Regisseuren als auch Darstellungen der Produktion und des Vertriebs von Musikvideos enthalten wird.
