Welcome to the homepage of the Chair of Quantitative Methods in Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Human and Business Sciences, headed by Prof. Dr. Fabian Hollstein.

Our research focuses on the empirical analysis of financial markets, asset pricing, derivative financial instruments and the analysis of commodity markets. We conduct our research using state-of-the-art quantitative and econometric methods.

Our teaching focus is on econometrics and quantitative methods. We offer courses at all levels in the bachelor and master programs of the faculty.
