Mission

The mission of the Center of Experimental Orthopaedics is to advance the basic, translational, and clinical science of osteochondral regeneration and osteoarthritis.

Toward this mission, the following specific goals have been established:

1. To perform excellent basic, translational and clinical research.

2. To train and teach students, postdoctoral fellows and other young investigators, and guest researchers in high quality basic and clinical science.

3. To translate basic science into advanced clinical applications in orthopaedic surgery.

 

The Center of Experimental Orthopaedics is dedicated to providing its scientists and clinicians with an education that combines excellence, innovation, and rigorous academic work and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a vibrant young and diverse team diverse team to achieve these goals.
