The Graduate Program in Psychology (GPP) was an institution supporting doctoral students while working on their dissertation project at the Department of Psychology at Saarland University from 2018 until 2024. The main aim of the GPP was to offer high-quality advanced training and to ensure high standards for supervision for all participating doctoral students in the department. The GPP thereby contributed to the growing trend of offering advanced structural graduate training. It was supported by the Presidential Office and the Department of Psychology of Saarland University.

The GPP was a precursor to RTG 2988, which was launched in October 2024. For information on current workshops and funding opportunities, please visit the RTG's website flexbar.org
