Academic research assistant (m/f/x)

Prof. Martin van der Laan's research group has been working intensively for many years on questions relating to the biogenesis, ultrastructure and functional dynamics of mitochondria. The focus is on the nano-architecture and spatio-temporal regulation of the mitochondrial inner membrane as well as the structure, function and regulation of membrane contact sites. The team investigates these fundamental molecular mechanisms in the context of metabolic adaptation, the (pathological) stress response and the differentiation of cells. Various biochemical, genetic and cell biological methods are used in the research projects. Through numerous local, national and international collaborations, the working group is integrated into a lively and active research network that provides an ideal basis for training motivated and committed young scientists.

We are looking for at least one research assistant (m/f/d) to join the team as soon as possible. Further information on the research project, scope of the position, etc. can be found in the job advertisement of Saarland University under the reference number W2556), as well as below:

We look forward to receiving your detailed application by December 5, 2024!
