Assistance for first-year students

The first time at university can be a challenging time: finding a flat, exploring the city, navigating the canteen, lecture rooms and libraries... We will help you manage the first few weeks of your studies!

Courses in the winter semester start in mid-October, in the summer semester in mid-April. However, you can already take part in some of our courses in the weeks before lectures start. So allow enough time to explore the campus and get to know your future fellow students.

Our offerings include pre-courses and introductory events, timetable courses and a mentoring programme. You should take part in a library tour and familiarise yourself with the functions of the UdS Card.
