Legal consideration of attacks on IT infrastructure

In the context of several publications, the chair also deals with the legal consideration and assessment of digital attacks. These include, for example, "digital trespassing" by hacking smart home devices or "digital hostage-taking" by so-called ransomware. The scenarios are first examined from the technical side and then legally evaluated. This serves both computer science, as legal limits and problems are highlighted, and the judiciary, as the interdisciplinary analysis reveals new perspectives and insights.
