Legal issues of applied cryptography

The chair has shed light on various legal issues related to applied cryptography. These include the legal classification of digital signature procedures, which was published in the internationally acclaimed Computer Law & Security Review. The first legal classification of the "crypto-currency" Bitcoin can also be traced back to the chair.
