Electronic personnel file in Saarland
Duration: 2015 - 2016
Grant: Saarland State Chancellery
Together with Professor Borges' chair, the juris endowed professorship worked as part of the Institute for Legal Informatics for the Saarland State Chancellery on the introduction of the electronic personnel file (ePA). As part of the project, the juris endowed professorship focuses on ensuring IT security and examines, among other things, the question of whether a qualified electronic signature (QES) is mandatory in this context. One of the results of the juris endowed professorship was an expert opinion on the security architecture underlying the electronic personnel file. The project was the first for the juris endowed chair in which employee data protection played a significant role.
