Offerings on Good Scientific Practice
All members of Saarland University are responsible for ensuring that the principles of research integrity are adhered to by themselves and their subordinates. Members of the University, in particular early-career researchers, are taught the principles of Good Scientific Practice and their sensitivity to scientific misconduct is promoted.
To this end, Saarland University has a variety of offers and instruments that help to promote Good Scientific Practice at the university. These include the following offers:
- eLearning course "Good Academic Practice during Doctoral Studies" by Saarland University (developed by Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a.M.)
- Workshops on "Good Scientific Practice" and "Research Methods" of the Graduiertenprogramm GradUS
- Plagiatssoftware "turnitin" and information on plagiarism
- Supervision agreements for doctoral projects at Saarland University
- Support for academic writing - pooled within the framework of the Writing Centre at Saarland University
- Techniques of scientific work - offers of the Centre for Lifelong Learning (ZelL)
