Frey, G.:
Control of a Flexible Manufacturing System using SIPN.
Reports of the Institute of Automatic Control I23/2002, University of Kaiserslautern, July 2002.

In this report the control algorithms for a laboratory model of a flexible manufacturing line are described. The model was built at the Logic Control Lab (LCL) of the Institute of Automatic Control, at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. It is intended as a benchmark problem for logic control problems and also used during laboratory courses. A detailed description of the line (mechanical setup, controller hardware, complete I/O-Tables, and possible control scenarios) is given in [Maas and Frey 2001].
The model is similar to one built at the NSF Engineering Research Center for Reconfigurable Machining Systems, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor presented in detail at the website [Tilbury 2001]. The model also served as a benchmark in an invited session at the American Control Conference 2002.
