Azyza Deiab
Azyza Deiab is Doctoral Researcher at the Chair of Romance Literatures and Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies at Saarland University in Saarbrücken and statutory member of the "Minor Universality" research group. She is also scientific coordinator of the "TRANSMED: Penser la Méditerranée ensemble – transmediterrane Jugendpolitik" project, funded by the Franco-German Youth Office (DFJW). Her research in cultural studies focuses on cultural-political and philosophical theories in the Mediterranean region. She is currently preparing a PhD on the complexity of decolonial processes in Tunisia based on the works of Albert Memmi in the tension between identity thinking and universality as a horizon.
