GIP Annual Meeting 2025

General information

From 8 - 10 October 2025, the annual meeting of the German-Speaking Inverse Problems Society (GIP), formerly known as Chemnitz Symposium on tour, will take place in Saarbrücken.

The Chemnitz Symposium on Inverse Problems was initiated by Bernd Hofmann in 2002 and has taken place annually since then, both in Chemnitz and various 'on tour' locations around the world. The symposium traditionally gives an opportunity especially for young researchers to present their work to the community.
